Home Theater FAQs
What’s available in home theater seating?
The classic home theater seating is a comfortable recliner. Many modern recliners can be linked together to form rows if necessary. There are companies, however, that produce seating that mimic the look and feel of your typical commercial movie theaters.
What does aspect ratio mean?
Aspect ratio is a means of describing the viewing format of a television or movie screen. The ratio number is an expression of picture width versus height. For instance, traditionally, television was produce with an aspect ratio of 4:3, meaning that for every four units of width, there were three units of height.
How many speakers do I need for a home movie theater?
Well, ideally a speaker system should include two front speakers (left and right), a center channel speaker, two rear speakers (for surround sound effects) and maybe a sub-woofer as well.
